DECR vice-chairman meet with Syria’s ambassador to Russia

On November 1, 2011, Archpriest Nikolay Balashov, vice-chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation, Mr. Mohammad Haddad, at the Syrian embassy in Moscow.

They discussed the current situation in Syria and development of friendly relations between the Russian and Syrian peoples.
