8th Children’s Easter Festival takes place in Paris

On 18^th April 2026, Bright Saturday, the 8th Annual Children’s Easter Festival took place at the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre in Paris, France, with the blessing of the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Metropolitan Mark of Korsun and Western Europe.

Prior to the festival, Archpriest Nicholas Rebinder, rector of the Church of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Paris, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Taking part in the divine service were, among others, pupils of the Russian Classical Gymnasium and Sunday School of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, as well as children’s choirs from St. Nicholas Cathedral in Nice and St. George Church in València, Spain.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, a Paschal procession of the cross took place, website of the Korsun Diocese reports.

It was followed by a Paschal repast. After that, the festival participants and guests were invited to take part in various masterclasses in decorating Easter eggs and cookies and hand-crafting Easter decorations.

As part of the festival, five children’s choirs gave an Easter concert in the amphitheatre of the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre.

Greeting the festival participants and guests before the concert were Ms A.I. Kotlova, Director of the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre in Paris, and Priest Georgy Sheshko, who conveyed to all those present blessings and good wishes from Metropolitan Mark of Korsun and Western Europe.
