Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk and Metropolitan Timotheos of Bostra Celebrate Liturgy at St. Nicholas Church in Limassol

On 21st July 2026, commemoration day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, and Metropolitan Timotheos of Bostra, Exarch of the Holy Sepulchre in Cyprus (Patriarchate of Jerusalem), celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Limassol, Cyprus.
Con-celebrating with the archpastors were Archpriest Pavel Povalayev, rector of the church, and ordained pilgrims.
After the divine service, Metropolitan Anthony delivered a homily.
The DECR Chairman also extended warm wishes to Father Pavel Povalayev on the occasion of his 50th birthday and, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, presented to him the Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov, 3rd Class.
