HIS HOLINESS BASELIOS MARTHOMA MATHEWS III
CATHOLICOS OF THE EAST
MALANKARA METROPOLITAN

Your Holiness,

Please accept my cordial greetings on this memorable occasion – the 5^th anniversary of your enthronement.

Continuing the preaching mission of the Holy Apostle Thomas, you carry out your lofty service in the land of India in all godliness and honesty (1 Tim 2:2), working tirelessly that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified (2 Thess 3:1). In taking paternal care of the archpastors, pastors and laity of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, you encourage them to follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness (1 Tim 6:11).

I cherish warm memories of our meetings, which are always held in a warm brotherly atmosphere, giving us an opportunity to look back at the time of your studies at the Leningrad Theological Academy, dear to my heart.

May the All-Generous God grant you His abundant blessed help in your Primatial ministry, preserving you in good health and longevity.

With love in Christ,
