Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta met with representatives of the Community of Churches of Indonesia

On the 9^th of August, with the blessing of the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia, the Vicar of the Singapore Diocese, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, met with the leadership of the Community of Churches of Indonesia, an organisation uniting Protestant organisations in the country.

The meeting was attended by Pastor Jacky Manuputty, general secretary of the Community of Churches of Indonesia, Krisse Gosal, deputy general secretary of the organisation, and clerics of the Singapore Diocese, Priest Boris Setiawan, Hieromonk Methodius (Sugiarto) and Hierodeacon Seraphim (Punuf).

According to the website of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia, various issues of interaction were discussed during the conversation.

On the 6^th of September 2022, on the fields of the XI General Assembly of the World Council of Churches in Karlsruhe, Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, met with Pastor Gomar Gultom, Chairman of the Community of Churches of Indonesia.
