Special Prayers for the Authorities and People of Thailand Offered at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok on the Birthday of the Thai Monarch

On July 28, 2026, the feast day of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Great Prince Vladimir, a solemn Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok.
On the same day, the Kingdom of Thailand marked one of its principal national holidays - the birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X). At the conclusion of the service, special prayers were offered for the peace, well-being, and prosperity of Thailand, its people, and its authorities, according to the social media page of the Patriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia.
The clergy congratulated the Orthodox faithful on the feast of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and also extended their good wishes to the people of Thailand on the occasion of the national holiday marking the monarch’s birthday.
