Session of the commission for international cooperation of the Council under the Russian President for interaction with religious organizations

On 7^th September 2026 at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate a routine session took place of the commission for international cooperation of the Council under the Russian President for interaction with religious organizations.

Participating in the session, which was led by the chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate and head of the commission for international cooperation the metropolitan of Volokolamsk Anthony, were: the deputy head of the administration of the Russian president for foreign policy V. P. Nazarenko; manager of the Russian presidential administration for foreign affairs, secretary of the Council and deputy chairman of the commission A. V. Tretyakov; the chief advisor of the Russian presidential administration for foreign affairs and commission secretary A. A. Terentiev; the head of the diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan of the Armenian Apostolic Church archbishop Ezras Nersiyan; the head bishop of the Russian Evangelical (Pentecostalist) Christian Union S. V. Ryakhovsky; the head of the department for interaction with religious organizations under the Russian presidential administration for internal policy Ye. V. Yeremin; deputy chairman of the DECR archpriest Igor Vyzhanov; DECR secretary for affairs of the distant abroad archpriest Sergei Zvonaryov; head of the spiritual assembly of Russian Muslims mufti A. R. Krganov; deputy head of the spiritual assembly of Russian Muslims for international affairs R. R. Abbyasov; DECR secretary for interreligious relations Father Ilya Kashitsyn, as well as other members of the commission and invited officials.

The sessions discussed issues connected with the work of the commission.
