Metropolitan Anthony of Zahle and Baalbek Receives Representative of the Russian Orthodox Church

On June 27, Metropolitan Anthony of Zahle and Baalbek received Archimandrite Philip (Vasiltsev), representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' to the Patriarchal See of Antioch, at his residence in the Lebanese city of Zahle.

During their lengthy conversation, they discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest. They also considered matters concerning cooperation between the Metropolis of Zahle and Baalbek and the Representation (Metochion) of the Russian Orthodox Church in Beirut, the Metochion's website reports.
