Malagasy Priests of the Russian Orthodox Church Attended the Opening of the Russia–Madagascar Chamber of Commerce

On March 27, 2026, the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo, hosted the ceremonial opening of the Russia–Madagascar Chamber of Commerce.

The ceremony took place at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Madagascar. It brought together more than 70 guests, among whom were also clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church in Madagascar: Priest Vasily Randrianayvu, dean of the Northern and cleric of the Southern Church districts of Madagascar, and Priest Alexy Erizu.

The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere and concluded with informal fellowship, the Telegram channel of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa reports.
