Metropolitan Serafim of Penza concelebrates Sunday Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

On 23rd February, Sunday of the Last Judgement, Metropolitan Serafim of Penza and Niznhy Lomov took part in the night Liturgy in the Edicule of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
Archbishop Theodosios of Sebastia officiated at the Divine Liturgy with the blessing of Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem. Concelebrating with the two hierarchs were Archimandrite Vassian (Zmeyev), head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, and the Mission’s cleric Deacon Makary Petukhov. Among other concelebrants were clergymen of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood and ordained pilgrims from Russia.
Praying at the Liturgy were clerics of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, members of local Christian communities and pilgrims.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Holy Sepulchre choir. The Liturgy was celebrated in the Greek, Church Slavonic and Arabic languages, website of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem reports.
