Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam arranges hot meals for poor families in Quezon

This year the volunteers and priests of the diocese have given humanitarian aid to people in the Provinces of Laguna, Cavite and Batangas, which have been affected by emergencies. During July and a half of August 2021, they visited the Province of Batangas to help people in need who had been evacuated due to the volcano eruption.
During the pandemic, Orthodox priests in the Philippines, supported by the Synod Department for Charity of the Russian Orthodox Church, repeatedly conveyed food packages to starving families. The first distribution of foodstuffs took place on May 22, 2020.
Since June 2021, the funds collected under the joined project of the Miloserdie.ru portal and Antivirus Miloserdia were given to the needy in 80 dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, East Timor and the Philippines. You can support the fund-raising campaign for purchasing foodstuffs and necessities for people in abject need at the website eda.help.
