DECR chairman meets with Apostolic Nuncio in Russia

January 14, 2018 – Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk received the Holy See representative in the Russian Federation, Archbishop Celestino Migliore, after the Divine Liturgy at the parish house of the church of the Icon ‘The Joy to All the Afflicted’-in-Bolshaya-Ordynka.

During their brief talk, they discussed several matters of mutual concern including the cooperation between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Roman Catholic Church in giving support to Christians in the Middle East.

Participating in the meeting was also Hieromonk Stephen (Igumnov), DECR secretary for inter-Christian relations.
