Primate of Coptic Church thanks His Holiness Patriarch Kirill for condolences over mass killing of Christians in Libya
On 19 February 2015, the head of the Coptic Church, Patriarch Tawadros II, sent the following message to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia:
To Patriarch Kirill
Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live”
Thank you for your kind message and sympathy during the loss of the 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya. Your message gave us comfort knowing that we were in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult days.
Please continue to pray for us, as we are praying for peace and safety for the entire world.
May the Lord of life protect us all from the aggressions of hate and intolerance!
With fraternal love and blessings,
+Pope Tawadros II
