Most senior hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church visits metochion of the Patriarchate of Antioch.

On 9^th June 2026 a meeting took place between metropolitan Juvenaly (Poyarkov) and the representative of the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia the metropolitan of Philippopolis Niphon.

The most senior bishop of the Moscow Patriarchate visited the metochion of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch located at the Churches of the Archangel Michael and the Great Martyr Theodore Stratelates in Arkhangelsky Lane in the Russian capital.

A brotherly conversation ensued between the two hierarchs. Metropolitan Niphon, in particular, noted how much he had learnt from the great hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church with whom he had conversed throughout his many-years ministry as representative to the Patriarchal throne of Moscow.
