Metropolitan Konstantin of Cairo and North Africa presides at a meeting of the Egypt Deanery clergy

On 7^th October 2026, a meeting of the Egypt Deanery clergy took place at the office of the Diocese of North Africa in Cairo. Presiding at the meeting was Metropolitan Konstantin of Cairo and North Africa, Patriarchal Exarch of Africa.

Taking part in the meeting were Bishop Yevfimy of Lukhovitsy, Vicar of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa and Dean of the Egypt Church District; Priest Dimitry Gurov, Acting Rector of the Parish of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women in Hurghada; and Hieromonk Mitrofan (Soldatenko), Rector of the Church of All Saints Who Shone Forth in the Egyptian Land.

As the Exarchate’s website reports, among the topics under discussion were activities of the Egypt Deanery and further development of church life in Egypt.
