Bishop Mitrofan of Serdobsk and Spassk takes part in Divine Liturgy at the Holy Sepulchre

On 4^th October 2026, 18^th Sunday after Pentecost, after the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, Metropolitan Isychios of Capitolias (Patriarchate of Jerusalem) officiated at the night Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem with the blessing of Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.

Concelebrating with him were Bishop Mitrofan of Serdobsk and Spassk, the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood clergy and ordained pilgrims from Russia and Ukraine. Taking part in the divine service on behalf of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem was Deacon Makary Petukhov, the Mission’s website reports.

In prayerful attendance were clerics of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood, sisters of the Gornensky Convent, pilgrims from Russia and representatives of local Christian communities.

Members of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood choir performed liturgical hymns.

The divine service was celebrated in the Greek and Church Slavonic languages.
