On 2^nd June 2026 the chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate the metropolitan of Volokolamsk Anthony attended a session of the wardens’ council of the Foundation for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad, which was headed by the Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov.

Among the participants were the chairman of the committee of the Federation Council of the Russia for international affairs S. B. Karasin, Russian justice minister K. A. Chuichenko, head of Rossotrunichestvo I. Yu. Chaika, plenipotentiary for human rights in the Russian Federation Ya. V. Lantratova, president of the Foundation of Historical Perspective N. A. Narochnitskaya, representations of the Russian presidential administration and representatives of interested federal executive organs and those who work with the Foundation of Russian organizations, including associations of lawyers, information agencies and business structures.

The participants of the session discussed by topic the means of further activating and improving the work of the Foundation.
