Bishop Euthymius of Lukhovitsy Celebrated the First Liturgy in the Church of All Saints Who Shone Forth in the Land of Egypt in El Dabaa

On April 24, 2026, the vicar of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, dean of the Egyptian Church District, Bishop Euthymius of Lukhovitsy, celebrated the first Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of All Saints Who Shone Forth in the Land of Egypt, located at the site of the nuclear power plant under construction in the city of El Dabaa (Egypt).
Concelebrating with the hierarch was Hieromonk Mitrofan (Soldatenko), a resident of the Holy Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, who arrived in Egypt with the blessing of the church authorities to minister to the Orthodox community in El Dabaa.
Praying at the service were employees of the nuclear power plant under construction, most of whom partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, a procession of the cross was held.
At the end of the service, Bishop Euthymius delivered a sermon and introduced the new priest to the parishioners.
