President of Syria congratulated the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Damascus on Pascha

The President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, congratulated the representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ to the Patriarchal See of Antioch, Archimandrite Philip (Vasiltsev), and the community of the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Damascus on the Feast of the Resurrection of Christ.

In the congratulatory message, it is stated in particular:

“On the occasion of the glorious feast of Pascha, we have the honor to convey to you our most sincere congratulations and best wishes for good health and well-being. We pray to God that this blessed feast be filled with peace, hope, and renewal, and that it contribute to strengthening the values of national unity and shared coexistence among the sons of the Fatherland.”

A congratulatory message on the Holy Feast of Easter was also sent to Archimandrite Philip by the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Maher Al-Sharaa.
