Liturgy is celebrated on the Triumph of Orthodoxy Sunday at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Tehran

On March 1, the First Sunday of Lent, also known as the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, hegumen Varlaam (Dulsky) celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Tehran.

Only a small number of worshippers attended because of the ongoing missile attacks. The explosions could be heard, yet the divine service was completed, ending with a festive sermon delivered by hegumen Varlaam.
