Patriarch John X of Antioch extends condolences for victims of terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall

His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East sent a letter of condolence to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ for the victims of the terrorist attack that entailed multiple fatalities in Krasnogorsk near Moscow on 22 March 2024.
The letter reads:
Your Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', ardently beloved in Jesus God co-servant of our humility, we brotherly kiss you and say:
At the beginning of the holy Lenten season, the season of sacred mercy, we write to you, seeking the Lord of mercies to bestow mercy upon to His world.
We address you with our letter to express our deep sorrow, heartfelt solidarity, and sincere condolences for the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted Moscow last night. We pray to the Lord God to preserve you in goodness and peace and to protect the Russian Church and people from all harm.
We pray and beseech Christ our Lord to have mercy on the souls of those who passed away, to heal the wounded, and to comfort your hearts and the hearts of the victims’ families, for from Him comes all mercy, comfort, and consolation.
We embrace you brotherly and pray to the Lord for you, asking Him to bestow upon you every good gifts.
