Secretary of the Diocese of Thailand meets with Russian Ambassador to Thailand

Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), secretary of the Diocese of Thailand, Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia, met with H.E. Yevgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand.

They were joined in the meeting that took place in the Embassy building by Ms Nimnual (Neonilla) Piewthongngam, a professor of law at the Panyapiwat Institute of Management and a representative of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society (IOPS) in Thailand. She told the head of the Russian diplomatic mission about the plans of the IOPS Thailand branch.

The website of the diocese reports that discussed at the meeting were also possible joint initiatives related to the strengthening of friendship between Russia and Thailand as well as other issues of mutual interest.
