A group of pilgrims from Ukrainian Orthodox Church visits Corfu Island
July 17-18, 2021, a group of the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church led by Archpriest Nikolay Danilevich, deputy head of the UOC Department for External Church Relations, and by the rector of the church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous in Kiev, Archpriest Dimitry Badyuk, visited Corfu Island, Greece.
The priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of St. Spyridon of Trimythous in the Metropolis of Kerkyra, where the relics of the saint rest. A cleric of the Metropolis of Kerkyra concelebrated.
The pilgrims of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church participated in the Divine Liturgy. They also venerated the relics of St. Spyridon of Trimythous.
After the service the Ukrainian faithful met with Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra, a hierarch of the Greek Orthodox Church.
