Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk meets with students of the Sretensky Theological Academy

On June 22, 2021, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of Department for External Church
Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, met with a group of students of the Sretensky Theological
Academy. The meeting took place at the Ss Cyril and Methodius Institute of Post-Graduate Studies.
Participating in the meeting was also Hierodeacon Peter (Akhmatkhanov), staff member of the
DECR Secretariat for Inter-Christian Relations.

The students thanked Metropolitan Hilarion for the possibility for them to represent the Russian
Orthodox Church at the Inter-Confessional Football Tournament.

In his turn, the DECR chairman explained to the students the importance of Orthodox mission among
the youth and answered their questions.

In conclusion of the meeting, Metropolitan Hilarion wished the student success in their studies.
