Holy Synod members commemorate Patriarch Irinej of Serbia and late archpastors of Russian Church

On 13 th April 2021, after the regular session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church held under the chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia in the Patriarchal and Synodal Residence at St. Daniel’s Monastery in Moscow, a memorial litiya was celebrated for His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, of blessed memory (†20.11.2020), and for the archpastors of the Russian Orthodox Church who passed away in recent months: Metropolitan Philaret (Vakhromeyev; †12.01.2021), Patriarchal Exarch Emeritus for all Belarus, Metropolitan Iov (Tyvonyuk; †1.12.2020), Metropolitan Ioanniky (Kobzev; †17.10.2020), and Metropolitan Feofan (Ashurkov; †20.11.2020).

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and members of the Holy Synod were praying at the divine service celebrated in the Chapel of All Saints Who Shone Forth in the Russian Land.
