His Holiness Patriarch Kirill completes his official visit to Armenia
On 18 March 2010, after the signing of the joint declaration at the Throne Hall in the main resident at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and talk with the media, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II proceeded to the Etchmiadzin Cathedral for a farewell ceremony.
The Primates of the Russian Orthodox and the Armenian Apostolic Church exchanged short speeches, and His Holiness Patriarch Kirill proceeded to the 'Zvartnots' airport.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill was seen off by the Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Russian Ambassador to Armenia V. Kovalenko, and representatives of state authorities of the Republic of Armenia.
His Holiness thanked the Primate of the Armenian Church for excellent organization of his visit and hospitality. He highly appreciated his meetings with the Armenian believers united with the believers of the Russian Orthodox Church by profound spiritual and value bonds.
