Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe leads patronal celebrations at the Parish of Holy Martyrs Quiricus and Julitta in Catalonia

On 28th July 2026, commemoration day of the Holy Prince Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles, and the Holy Martyrs Quiricus and Julitta, Metropolitan Mark of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe and Administrator of the Spain and Portugal Diocese, officiated at the Divine Liturgy marking the patronal feast of the Parish of the Holy Martyrs Quiricus and Julitta in the town of Lloret de Mar, Catalonia.
The Liturgy was celebrated in the ancient St. Quiricus Chapel built in the 13th century, website of the Korsun Diocese reports. Concelebrating with Metropolitan Mark were Archimandrite Serafim (Pavlov), Rector of the Holy Annunciation Parish in Barcelona; Priest Vasiliy Stopuryak, Rector of Sts. Quiricus and Julitta Parish; Deacon Gleb Zaika, Secretary of the Diocesan Administration of the Spain and Portugal Diocese; and ordained guests.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Mark, the clergy, parishioners and guests went in a procession of the cross around the church.
The Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe delivered a homily, in which he dwelt on the martyrdom of Saints Quiricus and Julitta and the life of the Holy Grand Prince Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles.
The divine service was followed by a festive repast.
