DECR Chairman meets with Austria’s Ambassador to Russia

On 20th January 2026, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, met with Mr Gerhard Sailler, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Russian Federation.
The participants in the meeting exchanged opinions on various issues of international relations.
Taking part in the meeting was also Archpriest Sergiy Zvonarev, DECR Secretary for Far Abroad Countries.
