Patriarchal exarch for South-East Asia celebrates Nativity services in Singapore.

For the feast of the Nativity of Christ on the night of 6th to 7th January 2026 the Patriarchal exarch for South-East Asia the metropolitan of Singapore and South-East Asia Sergius celebrated in the Holy Dormition Cathedral a number of Nativity services – Great Compline, Matins and the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom.
Concelebrating with His Eminence on the night of Nativity were the clergy of the church and one cleric from the diocese of Thailand.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy the Patriarchal exarch read aloud the Nativity Message by His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and Of all Rus’ Kirill to the archpastors, pastors, deacons, monks and nuns and all the faithful children of the Russian Orthodox Church.
After the reading of the message metropolitan Sergius congratulated those present on the occasion of the feast of the Nativity of Christ and gave those present his archpastoral blessing.
The Nativity celebrations continued with a common meal on the territory of the parish.
