Metropolitan Anthony presented Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov with the Patriarchal decree appointing him Deputy Chairman of the DECR

On August 8, 2025, during an administrative meeting at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the DECR, congratulated Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov on his appointment as Deputy Head of this Synodal institution.
The decision on the appointment was made at the session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church held on July 24 under the chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.
Presenting the Patriarchal decree, Metropolitan Anthony wished Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov God’s help in the important work ahead.
