Clergy of Russian Ecclesiastical Mission take part in Sunday Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

On 3rd August 2025, 8th Sunday after Pentecost, with the blessing of His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine, Archbishop Dorotheos of Avila (Patriarchate of Jerusalem) officiated at the night Liturgy in the Edicule of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
Among his concelebrants were clerics of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood, Hieromonk Matfei (Kozlov), sacristan of the Metochion of St. John the Forerunner at the Baptism Site in Jordan, as well as Hieromonk Pyotr (Borodulin), a cleric of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, and ordained pilgrims from Russia.
Attending the divine service were clergymen of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, representatives of the local Christian communities and pilgrims, website of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission reports.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Holy Sepulchre choristers. They were joined by Archbishop Isidoros of Hierapolis (Patriarchate of Jerusalem), Elder Sacristan of the Holy Sepulchre.
The Matins and Liturgy were celebrated in the Greek and Church Slavonic languages.
