Delegation of the Saint Andrew the First-Called Foundation arrives in Jerusalem.

On 18th April a delegation from the Saint Andrew the First-Called Foundation arrived in Jerusalem and visited the Russian Spiritual Mission.
At the Trinity Cathedral in Jerusalem the metropolitan of Kashira Theognost, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, leading the group of pilgrims for this year, headed a prayer service of thanksgiving. Serving with the bishop were the head of the Russian Spiritual Mission archimandrite Vassian (Zmeyev), the deputy head of the Russian Spiritual Mission in Jerusalem abbot Nikon (Golovko) and mission cleric deacon Makary Petukhov.
At the conclusion of the prayer service metropolitan Theognost delivered a short homily to the pilgrims who had come with him. The mission head archimandrite Vassian then spoke words of greetings, reports the website of the Russian Spiritual Mission.
Next to speak was the president of the board of trustees of the Saint Andrew the First-Called Foundation Vladimir Yakunin, who thanked the Mission for their hospitality and traditional years-long cooperation with the Foundation. Archimandrite Vassian and Vladimir Yakunin then exchanged gifts.
