The Holy Synod confirms a number of appointments regarding the foreign dioceses and parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church.

On 20th March at a session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church listened to a report by the chairman of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate the metropolitan of Volokolamsk Anthony on the foreign dioceses and parishes (minutes no.no.22-23).
The Synod appointed Father Andrei Dolgopolov, cleric of the diocese of Khabarovsk, to be placed at the disposal of the administrator of the diocese of Spain and Portugal.
The Synod members also heard the report by metropolitan Anthony on the request of a member of the clergy to be transferred to the Polish Orthodox Church.
His Grace the archbishop of Grodno and Volkovysk Anthony informed the Synod that he had received a request from a cleric from the diocese of Grodno deacon Pavel Tsybulsky to be transferred to the jurisdiction of the Polish Orthodox Church. This request was supported by a letter from His Beatitude the Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland Sawa expressing his willingness to receive him into the ranks of the clergy of the diocese of Warsaw and Bielsk should he receive a letter of dismissal. The archbishop of Grodno and Volkovysk Anthony sad he had no objections to his transfer to the jurisdiction of the Polish Orthodox Church.
The Synod decided to bless the transfer of cleric of the diocese of Grodno deacon Pavel Tsybulsky to the jurisdiction of the Polish Orthodox Church and sent to His Beatitude the Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland Sawa the corresponding letter of dismissal for the aforementioned clergyman.
