Organizing Committee for the Days of Russia’s Spiritual Culture holds its session

On December 2, a regular session of the Organizing Committee for the Days of Russia in foreign countries, which include events of a spiritual nature, was held in the large hall of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR). The meeting was headed by the Organizing Committee co-chairs Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the DECR; Mr. Andrei V. Malyshev, Russian deputy minister of culture; and Mr. Alexander A. Pankin, Russian deputy minister of foreign affairs.
Among those attending the meeting were archpriest Sergy Zvonarev, DECR secretary for far abroad countries; Mr. Alexander S. Alimov, director, and Ms. Viktoria V. Loginova, first secretary of the Department for multilateral humanitarian cooperation and cultural relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Svetlana A. Kondratieva, director of the ‘Russian Seasons’ autonomous nonprofit organization; Ms. Edita E. Isaakian, deputy director of the Department of state support of arts and folk creativity of the Ministry of Culture; Mr. Anton A. Kuznetsov, deputy director of the Department of museums and external affairs of the Ministry of Culture; Mr. Yevgeny E. Demin, deputy head of the Department of public diplomacy of Rossotrudnichestvo; Ms. Alina A. Ivaschenko, head, and Ms. Yekaterina A. Katusheva, lead counsellor of the International cultural cooperation division of the Department of museums and external affairs of the Ministry of Culture; and hieromonk Kirill (Peregudin) of the DECR secretariat for far abroad countries.
Discussed were proposals on the countries in which the 2025 Days’ events are planned to be held.
Metropolitan Anthony concluded the meeting and wished all the participants blessed success in their future endeavors.
