Religions working group of St. Petersburg Dialogue Forum meets in Moscow

On November 12, a Religions working group of the St. Petersburg Dialogue Forum held its meeting in Moscow.

Taking part in the meeting were Bishop Gennady of Kaskelen, chancellor of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan district; Archimandrite Philaret (Bulekov), deputy chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR), head of the working group; archpriest Sergy Zvonarev, DECR secretary for far abroad affairs; Mr. Vakhtang V. Kipshidze, deputy chairman of the Synodal Department for Church’s relations with society and mass media; Rev. Alexei Zhigalov, head of the Charity Foundation of the Interchurch Christian Diaconia of the Diocese of St. Petersburg; hieromonk Mikhail (Stolyarov), head of the Department for Church’s relations with society and mass media of the Diocese of Tashkent; hierodeacon Alexei (Ochkanov) of the DECR Secretariat for far abroad affairs; Mrs. Margarita B. Nelyubova of the DECR Secretariat for inter-Christian relations; Mr.Vasily V. Rulinsky, press secretary of the Synodal Department for charity and social ministry; Ms. Tatyana V. Zaltsman, head of the chair of social work of St. Tikhon's Orthodox University; Mr. Aleksei S. Leviz of the FAVOR Charity; and Ms.Ye.Yu. Ivanova, curator of social activities in Central Asia and Kazakhstan of the Synodal Department for charity and social ministry.

During the meeting, the Religions group’s working plans for 2025 were discussed.
