Hierarch of the Patriarchate of Antioch takes part in the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity and St. Sergius Lavra

On August 4, 2024, Bishop Moses of Larissa of the Orthodox Church of Antioch, while on a pilgrimage trip to Russia with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, visited the Holy Trinity and St. Sergius Lavra.
In the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God of the Moscow Theological Academy, Bishop Moses concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with Metropolitan Eugene of Tallinn and All Estonia. The divine service was followed by a repast, during which the hierarch of the Patriarchate of Antioch and the Primate of the Estonian Orthodox Church engaged in a brotherly conversation.
After the repast, an excursion was organized for Bishop Moses to the Church and Archaeological Cabinet of the Moscow Theological Academy and the Holy Trinity and St. Sergius Lavra. In the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the hierarch venerated the holy relics of the monastery’s founder, St. Sergius of Radonezh, and the Icon of the Holy Trinity painted by St. Andrew Rublev.
On his visit to the Lavra, Bishop Moses of Larissa was accompanied by Mr Georgy Shilin, staff member of the Secretariat for Inter-Orthodox Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations.
