The Russian Orthodox parish of Alanya celebrates the third anniversary of its founding.

On 17th July 2024 on the Day of the Royal Passion-bearers, the priest in charge of the religious needs of the Russian-speaking flock of the Moscow Patriarchate in Turkey Father Georgy Sergeyev, together with concelebrant Father Dimitry Bogatyr, the rector of the community in Alanya, celebrated the Divine Liturgy for his compatriots who live in the region.
After the dismissal Father Georgy greeted the faithful. He congratulated the community on the third anniversary of the beginning of regular services. The priest also thanked Father Dimitry Bogatyr and all those who had laboured over this period for the building up of the life of community and wished all those present God’s aid and blessed success.
As reported by the website of the parishes and communities of the Moscow Patriarchate in Turkey, the parishioners continued to socialize warmly at the festive meal.
