Chairman of the DECR heads celebrations for the fifth anniversary of the consecration of the Church of All Saints in Strasbourg.

On 26th May on the Fourth Sunday after Pascha of the Paralytic, the chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate the metropolitan of Volokolamsk Anthony, in France with the blessing of His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the stauropegic Church of All Saints in Strasbourg. It was on the same day the fifth anniversary of the consecration of the church by the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Serving with metropolitan Anthony were the parish rector archimandrite Phillip (Ryabykh) and the clergy of the church.
At the Little Entrance for the feast of Pascha the cleric of the Church of All Saints Father Ioann Kulyak was awarded the right to wear a kamelaukion.
Metropolitan Anthony also ordained Sergei Volosenko to the diaconate.
At the conclusion of the Liturgy the chairman of the DECR delivered a sermon and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the rector and parishioners. As a souvenir of the feast day the metropolitan gave archimandrite Phillip a jeweled cross.
The choir director of the church was also given a Patriarchal certificate.
A festive reception was then held which was attended by the consuls of the Russian Federation and Serbia in Strasbourg, the Russian ambassadorial advisor in France I.V. Subbotin and the clergy and parishioners of the Church of All Saints.
