Clergymen of the Moscow Patriarchate parishes in Italy meet in Milan

On December 8, clergymen of the Administration of the Moscow Patriarchate parishes in Italy had a meeting in Milan under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Nestor of Chersonesus and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe and administrator of the parishes in Italy.
After common prayer and welcoming address, Metropolitan Nestor and the clergymen discussed a wide range of spiritual, theological and practical issues pertaining to the activities of the Moscow Patriarchate parishes in Italy. The archpastor focused his attention on pastoral care, relations with Italian society, dialogue with the Roman Catholic Church, and church presence in the mass media.
Bishop Amvrosiy of Bogorodsk spoke about specific character of ministry and activities of the vicariate of the Moldavian-speaking parishes entrusted to his care. Clergymen had an opportunity to discuss individual questions with the archpastor, press service of the Diocese of Chersonesus reports with reference to the website of the church of St. Catherine in Rome.
