On October 31, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City attended reception in honour of the 3rd Committee of the UN General Assembly at the invitation of Mr. Vasily A. Nebenzya, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, website of the Moscow Patriarchate Representation in New York reports.
The 3rd Committee on Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Issues deals with human rights, humanitarian affairs and social issues.
The reception took place at the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations.
