St.Panteleimon parish in Sihanoukville hands over daily necessities and toys to children in Cambodia
DECR Communication Service, 03.11.2023.
On October 25, the church of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, celebrated the 8th anniversary of its consecration. On the occasion of the feast, parishioners organized a charity collection of goods of prime necessity for child-care facilities in the city.
On the feast day, Rev. Roman Postnikov and the parishioners handed over clothing, footwear, toys, and items much needed for everyday life to the city Khmer kindergarten. Also, they sent parcels with sports equipment, clothing and footwear to the children’s home in Koh Kong Province.
Telegram channel of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia reports that packages were collected by parishioners and donators who often bring items of first necessity to the church to be handed over to the needy families.
