A new parish of the Russian Orthodox Church formed in the south of Madagascar

The Russian Orthodox Church’s mission is developing in Madagascar by clergymen of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa. A new parish has been formed in the village of Andranonihaly, Toliara region, in the south of the country.
On October 8, the 18th Sunday after Pentecost and the commemoration day of St. Sergius of Radonezh, Rev. Ezekiel Boto Alfonce, Rev. Christian Andrianirina, and Rev. Calvitiy Edwin celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the new parish.
Praying at the divine service were eighty-two members of the new community, website of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa reports.
That same day, Rev. Joachim Tsymacoa celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the village of Ambondromamy located in the north of the country.
