On the eve of the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord His Holiness Patriarch Kirill celebrates All-Night Vigil at the Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Moscow

On 18th August on the eve of the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ, His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill celebrated the All-Night Vigil service at the Christ the Saviour Cathedral of Moscow.
Concelebrating with His Holiness were: the metropolitan of Volokolamsk Anthony, the chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate; the archbishop of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk Thomas, head of the administrative secretariat of the Moscow Patriarchy; the bishop of Zaraisk Constantine; archpriest Mikhail Ryazantsev, the sacristan of the Christ the Saviour Cathedral; archimandrite Alexis (Turikov), personal secretary to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill; Father Alxander Paramonov, cleric of the Russian Orthodox diocese of Australia and New Zealand under the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad; the clergy of the Christ the Saviour Cathedral; and clergy from the diocese of Moscow.
The hymns at the service were sung by the Patriarchal Choir of Christ the Saviour Cathedral under the direction of Ilya Tolkachev.
The TV stations Spas, Soyuz and the official site of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarchia.ru broadcast the Patriarchal service live.
