Deputy chairman of the DECR leads the festivities for the patronal feast day of the metochion of the Russian Church in Karlovy Vary.

On the feast day of the holy and all-laudable apostles Peter and on Paul on 12th July festivities were held to mark the patronal feast day of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul which is the metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Czech city of Karlovy Vary.
The service on this day was taken by the deputy chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate the rector of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul archpriest Nikolai Lischenyuk together with the rector of the of the Church of the Ludmila the Holy Martyr in Prague archpriest Vladimir Abrosimov and the clergy of the Prague diocese of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia.
At the conclusion of the divine liturgy and procession of the cross around the church Father Nikolai delivered a sermon and congratulated the many parishioners on the occasion of the feast day. All of those present were then invited to the festive meal to honour the holiday, reports the website of the church.
