DECR chairman’s meeting wish Italian ambassador in Russia

On June 19, a meeting took place at the Italian embassy in Moscow between Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations, and H.E. Giorgio Starace, ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Russian Federation.
In the course of a prolonged conversation, they expressed satisfaction with the high level of the DECR’s cooperation with the Italian embassy. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.
In conclusion of the talk Metropolitan Anthony and Ambassador Giorgio Starace exchanged tokens of the meeting.
