Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia celebrates at the Hierarchal Metochion in Bekasi, Indonesia

On April 17, Monday of Bright Week, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and South-East Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Hierarchal Metochion – St. Vladimir’s church in Bekasi, Indonesia.
Concelebrating with the archpastor were Rev. Boris Satiavan, rector of the church, hieromonk Cyril (Situmeang) and hieromonk Methodius (Sugiarto), clerics of the Hierarchal Metochion in Bekasi; hierodeacon Juvenaly (Maruschak), senior deacon of the Patriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia; deacon Dorotheus Gunavan, cleric of the Hierarchal Metochion in Bekasi; deacon Damian Darmavan, cleric of the Church of Apostle Thomas in Jakarta; and deacon Ammon S, cleric of the Hierarchal Metochion in Bekasi, website of the Exarchate reports.
Liturgical hymns were sung in the Church Slavonic and Indonesian languages.
Rev. Boris Satiavan was honoured with the liturgical award of wearing epigonation for his service to the Russian Orthodox Church and in connection with the Feast of Pascha.
At the end of the Liturgy, clerics and parishioners went on the Procession of the Cross around the church singing Paschal stanzas.
Concluding the service, Metropolitan Sergiy congratulated all those present on the feast and addressed them with his archpastoral word. Festal repast at the churchyard followed.
