A new website of the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Damascus was launched on December 24.
Official presentation of the new internet resource took place at the parish hall of the Representation after the Divine Liturgy. Among those attending were H.E. Alexander Yefimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Syrian Arab Republic; Mr. Nikolai V. Sukhov, director of the Russian House in Damascus; and Russian compatriots residing in Syria, website of the Representation reports.
Archimandrite Philip (Vasiltsev), representative of the Patriarch of Moscow to the Antiochian Patriarchal See, told the participants of the meeting about the new website structure, its content and up-to-date information about the activities of the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Damascus.
