Delegation of the Ethiopian Church visit the church of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ash Shāriqah

On December 17, a delegation of the Ethiopian Church visited the church of St. Philip the Apostle in Ash Shāriqah. The delegation consisted of three clergy, a deacon and four lay people.

The rector of the church, Archimandrite Alexander (Zarkeshev) showed the guests the interior of the church of St. Philip the Apostle, who is considered the founder of the Ethiopian Church. They also had a fruitful discussion about pastoral care for Christians in the United Arab Emirates. In memory of the visit, a common photo was taken at its end, the parish website reports.
