Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk meets with Russian Ambassador to North Macedonia

On August 16, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR), met with H.E. Sergei Bazdnikin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of North Macedonia.

They were joined at the meeting, which took place at the DECR premises, by Archpriest Nikolay Balashov, DECR deputy chairman.

Discussed were relations between the peoples of Russia and North Macedonia and between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Macedonian Orthodox Church.
