Hierarch of the Church of England visits the Department for External Church Relations

On July 4, Hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov), DECR secretary for inter-Christian relations, met with the Right Reverend Robert Innes, Anglican Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe.

Taking part in the meeting, which took place at the DECR premises, was also the Rev. Canon Malcolm Rogers, dean and chaplain of St. Andrew’s Anglican church in Moscow.

They discussed a number of issues pertaining to the current state of cooperation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Church of England.
